For treating hemangiomas, previously people used leeches, Yanhusuo, and oysters, grinding them into powder and taking them daily with yellow wine. Later, formulations combining leeches, Sanleng, Ezhushi, seaweed, kelp, processed frankincense, myrrh, pangolin scales, soapberry spines, He Shou Wu, White Flower Snake Tongue Grass, and Half Branch Lotus were also used as decoctions. This disease can grow anywhere on the body; cavernous hemangiomas are commonly found in the liver parenchyma, making it very difficult to distinguish them from cancer! Usually, a CT scan with enhanced imaging is required for diagnosis. The liver cancer formula I once devised can treat both liver cancer and this condition.
