Now, looking at Huang Wendong’s medical case, the prescription includes Dangshen, Baishu, Huangqi, Zhigancao, Shengdihuang, Shanju Yu, Tusi Zi, Maqian Zi, Danggui, Baishao, Xianhe Cao, Lu Jiao Pian, Bajitian, and Dazao. The distinctive feature of this formula is Xianhe Cao, Lu Jiao Pian, and Bajitian. In summary, starting from Gui Pi Tang, you can add Shengdihuang, Shanju Yu, Danggui, and Baishao (four out of six), along with Lu, Tu, Ma, Xian, and Ba—five flavors in total.
