Using Chai Hu to soothe the liver combined with small Dan Shen, San Leng, E Zhu, ginger, cinnamon, and other herbs proved highly effective. I reflected that the liver function of this patient was normal, and the hemangioma was merely a lesion, unlike the liver pain associated with cirrhosis. Therefore, I used Ge Xia Zhu Yu Tang, which proved effective.
