Sheng Di Huang 12 g, Chuan Xiong 6 g, Chi Shao 10 g, Dang Gui 10 g, Wu Yao 10 g, Xiang Fu 6 g, Gan Cao 6 g. Decoct these herbs and take the resulting liquid. This formula is specifically designed to treat acute lower abdominal pain caused by gynecological inflammation and stagnation, and can be used in combination with Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan to treat uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and pelvic inflammatory disease. This shows that Jing Fang Bai Du San can treat external wind-cold invasions and also address deep-seated inflammation. Chuan Wu and Cao Wu, besides treating wind-cold dampness, can also alleviate inflammatory pain, which explains why high-alkaloid extracts from Chuan Wu and Cao Wu have broad analgesic effects.
