10. Wang Sen: Bone Spurs on Elderly Legs
Q: Can bone spurs on elderly legs be cured? What medications or methods should be used?
A: Bone spurs are essentially bone hyperplasia, often accompanied by decalcification. As bone hyperplasia progresses, different locations of bone spurs can cause different symptoms. Through syndrome differentiation, TCM can alleviate these symptoms to varying degrees. The mechanism isn’t to make the bone spurs disappear, but to enhance the adaptability of local muscles and nerves, thereby reducing pain and discomfort.
