Q: I have an uncle who is 40 years old and suffers from rhinitis. He’s been taking medication for a month without improvement. His nasal congestion is very uncomfortable, and he occasionally feels cold. Do you have any suggestions or prescriptions?
A: Most cases of rhinitis are allergic, also known as allergic rhinitis. TCM is excellent at treating allergic rhinitis, but it must be done through syndrome differentiation to be effective.
