Question: My brother is 24 years old and suddenly developed severe pain in his buttocks, accompanied by redness and difficulty sitting or standing. A medical examination revealed a rectal tumor. Could this be life-threatening? It was only discovered a few days ago—what should we do?
Answer: Rectal tumors are malignant and classified as rectal cancer. Once diagnosed, immediate surgery is required. If necessary, a colostomy may be performed, followed by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and TCM treatment, which can significantly extend survival.
