(5) Gastric Yin Deficiency Type
① Symptoms: Burning and dull pain in the epigastric region, or occasional sharp pain, discomfort and noise, lack of appetite, dry mouth and preference for cold drinks, dry stools, red and dry tongue, or cracks and darkening of the tongue, sparse or flaking coating, and a fine or weak pulse.
② Treatment Principle: Nourish the stomach and yin, clear heat and detoxify.
③ Prescription: Modified Ye's Stomach-Nourishing Soup combined with Salvia Drink and Huanglian Jiedu Tang. <!-- translated-chunk:9/16 -->(3) Umbilical cord 60 g, Atractylodes macrocephala and Pinellia ternata each 30 g, Agarwood and Concha Ostreae each 60 g, Dragon's Blood 10 g, Realgar 1.5 g, all ground into powder. Take 6 g three times daily, primarily for gastric cancer.
(4) Six centipedes, Honeysuckle 95 g, Leech 25 g, Seaweed and Kelp each 15 g, Sparganium stoloniferum, Curcuma wenyujin, and Citrus aurantium fruit each 12 g, all decocted and concentrated to make a syrup. Take 30–50 ml three times daily.
(5) Brucea javanica, Peach Kernel, and Leech each 60 g, Raw Hematite 240 g; the last three herbs must not be heated over fire. First grind the latter three into powder, then pound in the Brucea javanica. Take 9–12 g each time, mixed with lotus root starch and taken orally, 3–4 times daily.
(6) Twenty centipedes, Earthworm, Black Rat Snake, Eupolyphaga sinensis, Panax notoginseng, and Pangolin each 30 g, all finely ground, made into pills with honey, 3 g per pill, take one pill daily.
(7) Seven geckos roasted in a clay pot until charred, Agarwood and Ginseng each 5 g, Frankincense 3 g, ground into powder, made into honey pills the size of Chinese parasol tree seeds, take 7 pills each time, washed down with Agarwood decoction, twice daily, mainly for regurgitation and belching.
(8) Long-term Qi block formula: 60 g of foundation sand (boiled in vinegar), 3 papayas, remove the roots and pulp, put the foundation sand inside, sun-dry until the papayas are rotten, then decoct with 250 ml rice vinegar until it becomes a thin soup, concentrate with honey, add finely powdered Aconitum carmichaelii, form into pills the size of Chinese parasol tree seeds, take one pill with warm wine each time.
(9) 6 g of Beiting sand, mix with water, wrap in buckwheat bread, calcine until charred, let cool, take the moist part in the middle and dry it to 3 g, add 6 g of Areca nut and 1 clove, grind finely, take 0.2 g each time, three times daily. After recovery, eat plain porridge for half a month, still take stomach-tonifying medicine. Mainly for dysphagia, regurgitation, and nausea.
(10) Bistort and Yellow Medicinal Herb each 60 g, Sophora tonkinensis, Patrinia scabiosaefolia, White Poria, Prunella vulgaris each 120 g, all finely ground, made into pills with honey, 9 g per pill, take 4–6 pills each time (Henan Lin County formula).
(11) Vine Pear Root Decoction: Take 90 g of vine pear root, add 1000 ml water, simmer on low heat for over 2 hours, take once daily, 10–15 days constitute one course of treatment, rest for a few days before another course, total of 4 courses.
V. Traditional Chinese Patent Medicines
(1) Weinaian Capsules. Main ingredients: Panax notoginseng, artificial calculus bovis, pearl layer powder, Astragalus membranaceus. Effects: tonify qi and strengthen the spleen, activate blood circulation and relieve pain, promote tissue regeneration. Suitable for gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic superficial and atrophic gastritis, also can be tried for gastric cancer.
(2) Pingxiao Tablets. Main ingredients: Strychnos nux-vomica, Curcuma zedoaria, Citrus aurantium fruit, Dried Lacquer, Five Spirit Resin, Alum, Potassium Nitrate, Agrimonia pilosa. Effects: activate blood circulation and regulate qi, soften hard masses and eliminate phlegm, support righteous qi, suitable for various malignant tumors.
(3) Fufang Tianxian Capsules. Composed of Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Clematis armandii, Astragalus membranaceus, Ginseng, Frankincense, etc., effects: clear heat and detoxify, activate blood circulation and dissolve stasis, disperse nodules and relieve pain. Mainly for gastric cancer and esophageal cancer. Note: should not be taken with digitalis drugs.
(4) Fufang Shouwu Tablets. Made from extracts of Polygonum multiflorum tuber, dispel wind and reduce inflammation, relieve pain and disperse nodules. Can be used for gastric cancer and other tumors.
(5) Zhemu Injection (Syrup). Made from Zhemu root stem. Mainly for gastric cancer and other malignant tumors.
(6) Zhongjiefeng Tablets. Functions: clear heat and detoxify, reduce swelling and disperse nodules. Mainly for digestive system tumors.
(7) Monkey Mushroom Tablets. Main ingredients: Hericium erinaceus. Effects: anti-gastric ulcer and anti-tumor.
(8) Ajowan Anti-Indigestion Paste. Main ingredients: Ajowan, Sparganium stoloniferum, Curcuma wenyujin, Magnolia officinalis, Raw Polygonum multiflorum, Raw Aconitum carmichaelii, Garlic, Pangolin, Momordica cochinchinensis, Scarabaeus, Rhubarb, Frankincense, Myrrh. Effects: resolve indigestion and disperse nodules. Suitable for qi stagnation and blood stasis, abdominal masses and lumps.
Other patent medicines such as Donglingcao Tablets, Camptothecin Injection, 10% Brucea javanica emulsion, 50% dried Toad Skin Injection, gastric cancer syrup mainly made from vine pear root, Xihuang Pills, Pianzaihuang, Longle Tablets, Xingxiao Pills, etc., all have therapeutic effects on tumors and can be tried for treating gastric cancer.
