Reflections and Prospects

As a purely traditional Chinese medicine preparation, Pei's Shengxue Granules are composed entirely of tonifying and reinforcing herbs. Since Professor Pei Zhengxue first formulated this prescription, it has been widely used in clinical practice for over 30 years, proving its excellent therapeutic effects not only for leukemia but also for malignant tumors, especially for cases of immune dysfunction caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Recent animal experiments have preliminarily confirmed that its effects align with the clinical outcomes observed in practice.

This research project was inspired by Professor Pei Zhengxue's more than 40 years of clinical experience, fully reflecting the idea that clinical experience should guide experimental research and avoid blind experimentation. In future studies, we will make full use of new advances in modern science and technology to conduct in-depth research on the material basis and related mechanisms by which Pei's Shengxue Granules regulate immune function, and explore Professor Pei's views and treatment methods on integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, so as to provide more microscopic explanations for his clinical prescriptions.
