1 Conclusion
1.1 Pei’s Blood-Boosting Granules can significantly inhibit the growth of tumors in H22-bearing mice, slowing down the rate of tumor growth, demonstrating a remarkable anti-tumor pharmacological effect consistent with the therapeutic outcomes achieved over many years of clinical application.
1.2 Pei’s Blood-Boosting Granules have a noticeable weight-increasing effect on the immune organs of H22-bearing mice—the thymus and spleen—thereby enhancing their non-specific immune function.
1.3 Pei’s Blood-Boosting Granules can significantly suppress mutant p53 and increase the protein expression of Caspase-3, suggesting that the drug may induce tumor cell apoptosis by downregulating mutant p53 and upregulating Caspase-3 protein expression, which is one of the important molecular mechanisms underlying Pei’s Blood-Boosting Granules’ anti-tumor effects.
1.4 This experiment demonstrates that, from a molecular biology perspective, Pei’s Blood-Boosting Granules exert an inhibitory effect on H22 tumors in mice, indicating that one possible mechanism of PG’s anti-tumor action is through suppressing p53 and promoting Caspase-3 protein expression. Thus, PG may have broad application prospects in tumor treatment.
