3.6 Effects of Pei’s Shengxue Granules on the Cell Cycle of Tumor Tissues in Tumor-Bearing Mice

As shown in Table 4, the large-, medium-, and small-dose Pei’s Shengxue Granules groups as well as the Zhenqi Fuzheng Granules control group influenced the distribution ratio of the tumor cell cycle. In the model group, the G₀/G₁ phase accounted for 30.95%, while in the treatment groups it increased to varying degrees, with the medium-dose PG group showing the most significant effect, where the G₀/G₁ phase rose to 56.93% (P<0.01); in the model group, the S phase was 56.35%, while in the treatment groups it decreased to varying degrees, with the medium-dose PG group seeing the S phase drop to 30.93% (P<0.01). No subdiploid peak of apoptotic cells was observed in the model group; however, after treatment with various doses of PG, a subdiploid peak of apoptotic cells emerged, with the medium-dose group showing the best effect. Results are shown in Table 4 and Figures 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, and 4-4.
