2.2 Animal Grouping and Dosage

Twenty-four hours after inoculation, the mice were randomly divided into five groups: high-dose PG + 5-Fu group, with PG dosage of 10g/kg (equivalent to 20 times the adult clinical dose); medium-dose PG + 5-Fu group, with PG dosage of 5g/kg (equivalent to 10 times the adult clinical dose); low-dose PG + 5-Fu group, with PG dosage of 2.5g/kg (equivalent to 5 times the adult clinical dose); 5-Fu group; and model group. PG was administered by gavage at an equal volume (0.2ml per 10g), while the model group received an equal volume of distilled water, once daily for 10 consecutive days. 5-Fu was administered by intraperitoneal injection at a dose of 20mg/kg based on mouse body weight, once daily for 10 consecutive days. Pei's Shengxue Granules were fully dissolved in distilled water before use.
