3.1 Observation of General Condition of Tumor-Bearing Mice

Before inoculation, all groups of mice were lively and active, with no abnormalities in food intake, water consumption, or excretion, and no significant differences in fur density. As the tumors grew, differences began to emerge among the groups.

• Model group: Fur became dark and sparse, food and water intake decreased slightly, liveliness declined, activity decreased, and excretion remained relatively unchanged.
• 5-Fu group: Fur turned gray and sparse, with hair loss occurring, food and water intake gradually decreased, liveliness dropped significantly, mice became more prone to lying down, and excretion decreased.
• Combined administration group: Fur color did not change much, hair loss was minimal, food and water intake decreased, activity decreased somewhat, and excretion decreased.
