3.2 Anti-Tumor Effects of Pei's Hematopoietic Granules Combined with 5-Fu
The results show that the tumor weight in the high-dose Pei's Hematopoietic Granules + 5-Fu group was significantly lower than that in the 5-Fu group, with statistically significant differences (p<0.05). The tumor suppression rates in the high-, medium-, and low-dose Pei's Hematopoietic Granules combined with 5-Fu groups were all higher than those in the 5-Fu group, at 72.4%, 66.6%, and 62.7% respectively (see Table 1 and Figure 1).
Table 1: Effects of Pei's Hematopoietic Granules Combined with 5-Fu on Tumor Weight and Tumor Suppression Rate in Tumor-Bearing Mice (x̄±s, n=10)
| Group | Dosage (g/kg) | Tumor weight (g) | Tumor suppression rate (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Model group | — | 3.09±1.88 | — |
| 5-Fu group | 0.02 | 1.49±0.62 | 51.9 |
| PG low-dose + 5-Fu group | 2.5+0.02 | 1.15±0.31 | 62.7 |
| PG medium-dose + 5-Fu group | 5.0+0.02 | 1.03±0.42 | 66.6 |
