3.1 Observation of General Condition of Mice and Tumor Growth

General observation shows that, starting from the third day, the model control group mice exhibit disheveled fur, reduced food and water intake, sluggish activity, clustering, lethargy, and drowsiness. A millet-sized tumor nodule can be palpated at the right anterior inoculation site, with an irregular shape and uneven surface. Between the fifth and seventh days, the swelling at the right axilla of the model control group mice accelerates, while the growth of the tumors in the treatment groups is comparatively slower. By the eighth to tenth days, all mice in the group show cachexia, and some develop ascites. Compared with the model control group, the mice in the PRGXP low-, medium-, and high-dose groups have shinier fur and better spirits and diets. No mice died during the experiment.
