3.4 Observation and Analysis of Objective Efficacy
Table 6 Analysis of Objective Efficacy
| Group | CR (Cases) | PR (Cases) | NR (Cases) | Complete Remission Rate (%) | Total Remission Rate (%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Treatment Group | 12 | 2 | 1 | 80.00 | 93.33 |
| Control Group | 7 | 5 | 3 | 53.33 | 80.00 |
According to Zhang Zhi-nan's "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Criteria for Hematological Diseases" (Third Edition), outcomes are classified as complete remission (CR), partial remission (PR), or no remission (NR). The treatment group had a complete remission rate of 80% and a total remission rate of 93.33%. Both parameters were higher than the control group's complete remission rate of 53.33% and total remission rate of 80%, and the differences were statistically significant according to χ² test (P<0.05). This indicates that combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment is more effective than single Western medicine treatment for chronic phase chronic myelogenous leukemia. However, due to limited research funding, small sample size, and short observation period, further research is needed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Pei's "Lanzhou Formula" combined with Western medicine chemotherapy in the accelerated and blast phases of chronic myelogenous leukemia.
