6. Gynecological Diseases
In addition to the aforementioned ectopic pregnancy, blood-activating and stasis-removing therapy can also be applied to other gynecological diseases. The Capital Hospital used this method to treat 127 cases of pelvic inflammatory disease, achieving good therapeutic results, with prescriptions adjusted according to individual needs, including Sheng Di, Chi Shao, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Sheng Mu Li, Sheng Bie Jia, Kun Bu, Hai Zao, Ji Sheng, Chuan Duan, and Xia Ku Cao. Among them, 84 cases were tuberculous pelvic inflammatory disease, treated with blood-activating and stasis-removing therapy combined with anti-tuberculosis drugs, all of which were effective. There are numerous reports nationwide of blood-activating and stasis-removing therapy being used to treat functional uterine bleeding, such as using Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan and Tao Hong Si Wu Tang to treat this condition, with the efficacy widely recognized in the medical community.
