2. Water Not Containing Wood
Symptoms include dizziness, lower back pain, leg fatigue, tinnitus, five heart areas feeling hot, tidal fever and night sweats, weak pulse at the chi position, red tongue with little coating. Treatment involves nourishing the kidneys and liver. Prescription: Zhi Bai Di Huang Tang with modifications: 12 grams of sheng di, 6 grams of shan yu, 10 grams of shan yao, 6 grams of dan pi, 12 grams of fu ling, 10 grams of ze xie, 6 grams of zhi mu, 6 grams of huang bo, 10 grams of gou qi zi, 15 grams of ju hua, 30 grams of dan shen, and 10 grams of jiang xiang.
