3. Blood Stasis in the Heart
Symptoms include chest tightness and pain, palpitations and shortness of breath, occasional radiating pain to the back, tense and irregular pulse, thin white coating. Treatment involves activating blood circulation and removing stasis, expanding the chest and regulating qi. Use Guan Xin No. 1 combined with Gua Lou Xie Bai Ban Xia Tang: 10 grams of gua lou, 10 grams of xie bai, 6 grams of ban xia, 10 grams of chi shao, 6 grams of hong hua, 6 grams of jiang xiang, 20 grams of dan shen, and 6 grams of chuan xiong.
