Minor Menstrual Regulation Soup

Angelica 3 qian, red peony root 3 qian, myrrh 2 qian, amber 2 qian, cinnamon 2 qian, asarum 5 fen, a little musk.

Angelica tonifies blood; red peony root moves blood; resin is like human blood, and myrrh is formed from resin, so it can treat blood clots; amber is transformed from resin, so it can dissolve dead blood. These four herbs specialize in treating blood stasis, and the formula seems complete, but there’s concern that it may not penetrate deeply enough. Therefore, spices, cinnamon, and musk are added to ensure the medicinal properties reach every corner, preventing any remaining stasis inside or outside. Thus, those who don’t follow regular cycles often suffer from blood stasis blocking menstruation, and removing the stasis is equivalent to regulating menstruation.

[Comment] This formula is mainly used to treat blood stasis and irregular menstruation.
