It treats blood stasis from falls and blows, thirst, body pain, and constipation. It uses Si Wu Tang to regulate and tonify the blood, while Pu Xiao and Da Huang help remove stasis and relieve blockage. The clever part is that Sheng Jiang alone disperses qi, ensuring that the properties of Pu Xiao and Da Huang do not just act downward but also spread horizontally, clearing both internal and external stasis at the same time.

[Note] This formula is a combination of Si Wu Tang and Tiao Wei Cheng Qi Tang. The former activates blood circulation, while the latter promotes qi flow, together achieving the effect of regulating qi and activating blood.
