This drug has the same effect as the previously available pamidronate disodium and belongs to the class of bisphosphonates that regulate bone metabolism. It has a strong affinity for calcium phosphate in bones, thus improving bone structure, lowering blood calcium, and reducing bone diseases. It is particularly effective for hypercalcemia and bone pain caused by bone metastases from malignant tumors. Specification: each capsule contains 200 mg of anhydrous sodium clodronate, i.e., 0.2 g per capsule. For bone metastases from malignant tumors, take 4 capsules (0.8 g) three times daily orally; for osteoporosis, take 0.2 g three times daily, p0.
