Case study of treating chronic nephritis on May 6, 1979
In April 1979, Ruiqin introduced a 10-year-old girl. She had suffered from nephritis for over a year, with facial edema and abnormal urine tests: protein (+), casts (+), 3–4 red blood cells per HP, and 3–4 white blood cells per HP. After taking the following five doses, casts, protein, and blood cells in her urine all disappeared.
Prescription: Angelica sinensis 10g, white peony 10g, Ligusticum chuanxiong 6g, peach kernel 10g, safflower 3g, motherwort 10g, Salvia miltiorrhiza 10g, honeysuckle 10g, Forsythia suspensa 15g, Isatis tinctoria 10g, dandelion 10g, cicada slough 6g, Perilla frutescens 10g, white bamboo root 30g.
