Gan Wen Xian Run Method 1985.9.20
The Gan Wen Xian Run method, also known as "soft agent yang medicine," was skillfully employed by the renowned Qing dynasty physician Ye Tianshi, who elaborated extensively on it in his "Clinical Guide to Medical Cases." This method uses sweet-warm tonification to replenish deficiency, salty-astringent actions to consolidate, and moistening to treat dryness, making it suitable for treating various ailments with endless efficacy.
- Medications for functional uterine bleeding include red ginseng, Astragalus, Angelica, Rehmannia, white peony, donkey-hide gelatin, dodder seed, mugwort, charred palm fiber, charred black plum, and deer antler velvet.
- Medications for threatened miscarriage include dodder seed, Eucommia, Astragalus, donkey-hide gelatin, Codonopsis, Cistanche, Epimedium.
- Medications for uterine underdevelopment include dodder seed, Cistanche, Morinda citrifolia, Epimedium, goji berries, Eucommia, Cornus officinalis, Angelica, white peony, Leonurus cardiaca, Codonopsis, Astragalus, and deer antler velvet.
