Clinical Experience with Bee Venom, June 29, 1993

Gingival abscess: A female patient developed a gingival abscess after a cold. She took bee venom powder at 4.5 g daily, divided into three doses, and recovered within three days. Observation: In this case, only single-agent bee venom powder was used for oral administration to treat gingivitis, achieving excellent results and prompting deep reflection. Previously, I treated atrophic gingivitis using a formula containing fenugreek, Chinese yam, poria, fennel, turmeric, drynaria, dactylorhiza, peach kernel, apricot kernel, talc, and licorice. If bee venom were added to this formula, the efficacy would likely be even greater.
