Dopamine + Furosemide Intraperitoneal Injection, December 31, 1993
Dopamine 20 mg and furosemide 40 mg are administered intraperitoneally once daily. Spironolactone 40 mg is taken orally three times daily. The doses of dopamine and furosemide can be adjusted based on diuretic response, with dopamine potentially increased to 60 mg and furosemide to 240 mg. This method demonstrates exceptionally effective results in treating ascites associated with cirrhosis.
