Treatment of Aphasia and Hoarseness on August 21, 1995
In the autumn of Yihai, a patient developed aphasia and hoarseness after chemotherapy, which is a side effect of anticancer drugs and indicates damage to the recurrent laryngeal nerve. I thought of using Bupleurum 10g, Citrus aurantium 10g, White Peony 10g, Licorice 6g, Rhubarb 6g, Cicada Slough 6g, Silkworm 6g, Turmeric 6g, Butterfly Tree 6g, Terminalia chebula 3g, White Snake Tongue Herb 20g, and Half Branch Lotus 20g—three courses in total—and the patient’s aphasia and hoarseness disappeared completely. Many doctors in the hospital said it was a miraculous formula.
