Case Study on Vaginal Itch March 6, 1996
Although this condition is minor, the suffering it causes is considerable! The most common culprits are trichomoniasis, eczema, and fungal infections. Trichomoniasis is characterized by abundant, grayish-green, foamy vaginal discharge and a heavy sensation in the lower abdomen; eczema presents with localized lesions that ooze fluid when scratched; fungal infections manifest as cheesy white discharge.
① Trichomoniasis wash: She Chuang Zi, Ku Shen, Huang Bai, and Ming Fan.
② Fungal infection wash: Yin Chen, Ku Shen, Ming Fan, and She Chuang Zi.
③ Eczema: Ku Shen, Tu Fu Ling, Di Fu Zi, Bing Lang, Ren Dong Teng, and Gan Cao.
All three of these washes should be decocted for 10 minutes, yielding 2,000 mL of liquid for sitz baths.
