The most common primary cardiac tumor, typically located at the foramen ovale of the interatrial septum, obstructs the atrioventricular orifice, leading to blood flow obstruction that closely resembles mitral stenosis. Common symptoms include: ① palpitations, chest tightness, and shortness of breath; ② dizziness (transient dizziness or falls); ③ acute pulmonary edema (left ventricular failure), hepatomegaly, and ascites (right ventricular failure); ④ systemic and pulmonary embolism; ⑤ weight loss, anemia, and low-grade fever.

Physical signs: A grade III systolic blowing murmur and a diastolic rumbling murmur may be heard at the apex.

This condition can lead to sudden death, and surgical intervention should be performed immediately upon diagnosis.
