9) Strips

Herbs are finely ground and mixed with binders or excipients to form solid preparations of a specific size and shape. These can be used externally or internally. Externally, they can be inserted into affected areas to draw out necrotic tissue or stimulate new tissue growth; internally, they can be dissolved in water or crushed into juice for consumption. External strips like Ku Zhi Strips, while internally, they can be used as Zijin Strips or Zhi Bao Strips.
