3.3 Bone Marrow Tissue Morphological Observation

The hematopoietic tissue volume in the model group is significantly lower than that in the normal group (p < 0.05), while the fat tissue volume is significantly higher than that in the normal group (p < 0.05); in each treatment group, the hematopoietic tissue volume is significantly higher than that in the model group (p < 0.05), while the fat tissue volume is significantly lower than that in the model group (p < 0.05); the high-dose and low-dose groups have no significant difference in hematopoietic and fat tissue volumes compared with the Zhenqi group (p > 0.05); the medium-dose group has a higher hematopoietic tissue volume than the high-dose, low-dose, and Zhenqi groups (p < 0.05); the medium-dose group has a lower fat tissue volume than the high-dose, low-dose, and Zhenqi groups. (See Table 4)

Statistical analysis: All data were entered into a computer and processed using SPSS 10.0 statistical software (Social Science Statistical Package, developed by SPSS Inc., Chicago, USA). Count data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, with LSD (homogeneous variance) or Tamhane (heterogeneous variance) for intergroup comparisons. Measurement data were analyzed using chi-square tests, and results are presented as x±s.
