4.2 Nucleated Cell (BMNC) Count

Bone marrow hematopoiesis is a dynamic process in which hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells differentiate and proliferate through mitosis. Progenitor cells at various stages continuously proliferate and differentiate, forming primitive and immature cells before developing into mature blood cells and being released into peripheral blood. The nucleated cells in bone marrow consist of these different stages of cells, and changes in their number reflect the degree of bone marrow hematopoietic cell proliferation to some extent. Therefore, the results show that after medication, the MNC counts in all treatment groups were significantly higher than those in the model group (p<0.05). The middle-dose and low-dose groups had higher MNC counts than the Zhenqi Fuzheng group, while the high-dose group had lower MNC counts than the Zhenqi Fuzheng group, though the difference was not statistically significant (p>0.05). This indicates that Peishengxue Granule has the effect of repairing damage to bone marrow hematopoietic cells and promoting their proliferation and differentiation.
