3.5 Treatment of Chronic Aplastic Anemia [22]
3.5.1 Androgenic Drugs [22]
3.5.1.1 Testosterone Propionate: 50–100 mg each time, intramuscular injection once daily.
3.5.1.2 Conjugated Estrogens (Stanozolol): 2–4 mg each time, three times daily, oral administration.
3.5.1.3 Hydroxyprogesterone: 15–60 mg daily, divided into 2–3 doses for oral administration.
3.5.2 Stimulants
3.5.2.1 Strychnine Nitrate: Administered via intramuscular injection for 5 days, with a 2-day interval between injections, repeated until relief is achieved.
3.5.2.2 Berberine: Adults take 8–16 mg daily via intramuscular injection; dosage for children is reduced accordingly. Use continuously for 1.5–2 months.
3.5.2.3 Scopolamine-based drugs: Mainly to relieve vascular spasm in the bone marrow microenvironment, adjust blood flow perfusion, thereby improving the hematopoietic microenvironment.
3.5.3 Trace Element Drugs [23]
3.5.3.1 Cobalt Chloride: Cobalt can inhibit enzyme activity in cells, putting them in a state of hypoxia, thereby stimulating the kidneys to increase production of erythropoietin.
3.5.3.2 Immunomodulators: The main drug is levamisole. Treatment course lasts more than 3 months.
3.5.3.3 Adrenal Corticosteroids.
