One week after model establishment, blood analysis and bone marrow morphology confirmed successful modeling. Medication was initiated on day 8, and after 20 days of gavage administration, blood analysis revealed varying degrees of increase in peripheral blood cell counts (hemoglobin, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets) across all groups. Upon re-examination of blood analysis after 40 days of gavage, it was found that in the high-dose Pei's Shengxue Granules group, blood cell counts (hemoglobin, red blood cells, and white blood cells) not only failed to rise but actually decreased, possibly due to an excessively high dosage of the herbal medicine exceeding the gastrointestinal capacity of the mice, leading to a series of functional disturbances. Additionally, an overly high dosage can also produce certain toxic side effects, suggesting that when prescribing herbal medicines clinically, dosage should be carefully controlled, especially for pediatric patients, who require even greater caution.
