2.2 Animal Grouping and Dosage

Twenty-four hours after inoculation, the animals were randomly divided into a high-dose Peishishengxue Granule (PG) group (10g/kg, equivalent to 20 times the adult dosage), a medium-dose group (5g/kg, 10 times), a low-dose group (2.5g/kg, 5 times), a Zhenqi Fuzheng Granule (ZG) control group (dose of 1.67g/kg, equivalent to 10 times the adult clinical dosage), and a model control group, with 10 mice in each group. Peishishengxue Granule and Zhenqi Fuzheng Granule were thoroughly dissolved in distilled water before use. The experimental groups were administered the same volume of medication (0.2ml/10g) via gavage[21], while the model group received an equal amount of distilled water, once daily for 10 consecutive days[1].
