3.4 Pathological histological examination

Model control group: Tumor cells grow diffusely and actively, with round shapes, large volumes, prominent nucleoli, and frequent mitotic figures. There are few areas of tumor necrosis, and only occasional neutrophil infiltration around the tumor.

Treatment group: Tumor cell growth is inhibited to varying degrees, mainly manifested as tumor cell shrinkage, taking on triangular or spindle-shaped forms, with less prominent nucleoli and rare mitotic figures, accompanied by more inflammatory cell infiltration. In the low-dose PG group, the tumor tissue shows focal necrosis; in the medium-dose group, patchy coagulative necrosis; and in the high-dose group, extensive coagulative necrosis.
