3.3 Effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules on the Immune Organs Thymus and Spleen in Tumor-Bearing Mice

Effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules on the immune organs of tumor-bearing mice: In the model group, the thymus and spleen of mice showed reduced volume and weight, with some thymic lobes unclear and grayish-white in color, while the spleen turned pale red. The thymus index of mice in all PG dosage groups and the blank control group was higher than that of the model group, with significant differences compared with the model group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The spleen index of mice in all PG dosage groups and the blank control group was also higher than that of the model group, with significant differences compared with the model group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). There was no significant difference between the PG dosage groups and the ZG group (P>0.05). (See Table 2, Figures 3 and 4)
