3.4 Effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules on VEGF Expression in Tumor Tissue of Tumor-Bearing Mice
Immunohistochemical SP method results show that the number of VEGF-positive cells in tumor tissue of all PG dosage groups was lower than that of the model group to varying degrees, with significant differences between the high- and medium-dose PG groups and the model group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the PG dosage groups and the ZG group (P>0.05). (See Table 3, Figures 5 and Appendix Figure 1: VEGF immunohistochemistry photo)
Table 3 Effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules on VEGF Expression in H₂₂ Mouse Tumor Tissue (n=8, x±s)
| Group | Dosage (g/kg) | Number of VEGF-Positive Cells |
|---|---|---|
| Model Group | — | 65.11±8.72 |
| PG Low-Dose Group | 3.0 | 60.71±7.10 |
| PG Medium-Dose Group | 6.0 | 55.52±8.03 |
| PG High-Dose Group | 12.0 | 54.85±6.03▽ |
| ZG Group | 5.0 | 54.50±5.59 |
Note: Compared with the model group, ▽P<0.05
