1 Anti-tumor Effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules

This experiment used the H22 tumor model in mice, which is a typical in vivo experimental model for evaluating the anti-tumor effects of drugs. The modeling method involves transplanting tumor cells into animals and allowing them to continuously proliferate within the animal's body. The advantage of this model is that it maintains the integrity of the organism and keeps the body in normal contact with the external environment, thus more objectively reflecting the drug's anti-tumor activity. [2] From the experiment, it was observed that all dosage groups of Pei's Shengxue Granules significantly inhibited the tumor weight in H22 tumor-bearing mice, with significant differences in average tumor weight compared with the model group (p<0.01). The average tumor weight of the high- and medium-dose PG groups differed significantly from that of the low-dose PG group (p<0.05 or p<0.01). The tumor inhibition rates for the high-, medium-, and low-dose PG groups were 36.27%, 37.56%, and 24.94%, respectively. The experimental results show that the low-, medium-, and high-dose groups of Pei's Shengxue Granules all have obvious inhibitory effects on tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice, with the medium-dose group showing the most pronounced effect. This indicates that Pei's Shengxue Granules has good anti-tumor effects.
