2.1.1 Case Selection
Cases meeting the following diagnostic and staging criteria are included:
2.1.1.1 Diagnostic criteria for the chronic phase (CP):
- No obvious clinical symptoms: or mild manifestations such as fatigue, low-grade fever, excessive sweating, and weight loss;
- Blood parameters: elevated white blood cell count, predominantly neutrophils in the middle and late stages of maturation and band neutrophils, with blasts (type I + type II) less than 5%–10%, increased eosinophils and basophils, and occasional nucleated red blood cells;
- Bone marrow findings: marked to extreme hyperplasia, predominantly granulocytic lineage, with middle and late-stage neutrophils and band neutrophils.
Research on Pei's series of formulas and medications
Increased cell count, with blasts (type I + type II) less than 10%; 2.1.1.1.4 Presence of the Ph chromosome; 2.1.1.1.5 CFU-GM culture: colonies or clusters significantly increased compared with normal.
