2. Blood Stasis Obstruction
Mostly seen in middle-aged and elderly individuals. Symptoms include stabbing headaches that persist for a long time, stasis spots on the tongue, and a sticky pulse. Patients typically exhibit increased blood viscosity, and CT scans reveal brain atrophy or cerebral infarction. Treatment focuses on activating blood circulation and resolving stasis, with the prescription being Xuefu Zhuyu Tang with added ingredients; for severe headaches or those caused by traumatic brain injury, add wugong, jiangcan, and quanchong to the formula; for those with high blood pressure, combine it with Qiju Dihuang Tang; for those with low blood pressure, combine it with Shengmai San.
