Human primordial qi is born in the kidneys and emerges in the lungs. If lung yin cannot control the flow of qi and kidney yang cannot return to its roots, it leads to collapse and breathing difficulties. Using Aconite to enter the kidneys to replenish the root of yang qi and Ginseng to enter the lungs to support the output of qi, these two medicines complement each other, greatly replenishing primordial qi. Qi is the yang of water, and water is the yin of qi. Ginseng is the yin of qi, while Aconite is the yang of water. Understanding this allows one to grasp all methods of replenishing qi.

[Note] This formula originates from "Shiyi De Xiao Fang." Ginseng replenishes lung qi, while Aconite replenishes kidney qi. Human qi is regulated by the kidneys as the intake and by the lungs as the output; when both organs are replenished, they can properly manage intake and output, and qi depletion and yang loss can be cured.
