2 Reflections and Prospects

Pei's Shengxue Granules is a prescription formulated by Professor Pei Zhengxue, drawing on more than forty years of clinical experience, for treating malignant tumors. This formula combines warming the kidneys, strengthening the spleen, tonifying qi, and nourishing blood into one, taking reinforcing righteous qi and consolidating the root as its main principle. Over the years, it has achieved relatively satisfactory clinical results in treating malignant tumors. Decades of clinical practice have proven that Pei's Shengxue Granules is not only highly effective against leukemia, but also remarkably effective against malignant tumors, especially those caused by weakened immune function due to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In recent years, animal experiments have shown that the effects of Pei's Shengxue Granules on malignant tumors are consistent with the clinical results obtained. The initiation of this research project was inspired by Professor Pei Zhengxue's more than forty years of clinical experience, fully embodying the idea of using clinical experience to guide experimental research and avoiding the blindness of experimental studies. The experiment explores the anti-tumor mechanism of Pei's Shengxue Granules at the molecular level, providing a scientific theoretical basis for the drug's application in treating malignant tumors, for use in conjunction with surgery and radiotherapy/chemotherapy, for better realization of the anti-tumor effects of traditional Chinese medicine, and for the widespread clinical application of Pei's Shengxue Granules.
